The Museum

On Friday we went to the museum. It had a lot of stuffed animals. In the entrance there was a ginormous elephant and a pterodactyl.The first room was full of crystals. This is my haiku:

snowy glowing white

spiky white diamond beauty

I love it so much 

   The next room was about the continent.There was a film. All  the continents were moving in fast motion and in 6 billion years time the world will explode!  Another class was already in the room but we watched it anyway. As we were walking to the next room, we spotted some skeletons. I sketched a skeleton that looked like a dinosaur, but it was a hedgehog.
Up in the sky was a whale. It was ginormous. After that we saw more stuffed animals. After lunch we went home. I had a really good time.         

HOLLYWOOD Club (first part of the story)

Once upon a time there lived a prince who married a beautiful woman at Buckingham Palace.

They lived together and had a baby. Her name was: Victoria. They had another baby called Elizabeth. The prince's wife died after Elizabeth was born. The prince was now named king and Victoria was named princess. Elizabeth was desperate to be a princess, but she was only five.

Vicki was ten when Lizzie was five. After five years Lizzie was named princess and Vicki was named queen, but after, things started get worse.

Varjak's Journey By Alicia and Penny

This is our Scratch project for Varjak Paw:

Penelope in London

On Monday morning (before school) my mum said: would you like to go to ...
I said :no !!! I don't want to go to school. m : London . To go shopping there .
P: Yes please!

And so on Saturday at 6:00 me and my mum went to London. Here are some of the things we did :

Day 1:

Me and my mum in the V&A museum.
The entrance.
On the second floor
Above the entrance
Next we went to some more shops
This is us in Harrods toy store these are the things we bought or things we liked.

1. A bear.
2. A baby Furby ( ...)
3. Three life size Elephants
4. A car
This is one of the cars.

Finally it was time for Wicked! At the start (before the show) I thought the bad witch (called Elphy) would rip the map!
When we came back to the hotel, it was 11 o'clock.

Day 2:

Straight away we went to Kensington Palace. We went inside and saw a lot of pretty dresses.

These are definitely my favourite .


After that we went to Harrods, a very expensive shop. We went to the toy department and I saw A BABY FURBY!!!
I also got a Teddy called Harrods

After we bought a bit more stuff from Harrods, we went to Hamley's. But we only got some build a bear clothes there. So we went to John Lewis and they had everything else we wanted and it was cheap.

I loved going to London with my mum.

Robyn the Christmas Party Fairy

I chose this book because I love the way two girls (named Kirsty and Rachel) find a fairy.  This is one is one of my favourites. Some people don't like reading books, but I love reading , I get to travel the world and go to mythical places, like fairy land!

This is the second time I 'v read this book and I love it . The book has three stories in it. They are called: The Magical Cracker, The Dancing Shoes and The Snow Globe. My favourite story is The Magical Cracker because there's a clue to each magical object in Jack Frost's spell. In the spell it says: 

I know a Norwegian who likes to play pranks.If he'll help trick the fairies I 'll  give him my thanks .Tiaras and tutus conceal a great prize,And keep it away from those bright fairy eyes.The treasure will lie in a Christmassy nook .The very last place a fairy would look .

If you are a girls' girl and like good fairy books then I would recommend this one!

James and the Giant Peach

This story is about James and his disgusting Aunts.
His parents got eaten by a rhino (`which is pretty strange because rhinos are vegetarian).

He was looking at the seaside then he saw a strange man with a bag of strange stuff.  This is how it all began.


The Aunts get famous and so on and so on...

James on the other hand , He went inside the peach and met Giant insects ( I would of not have liked that).
Then the peach rolled off the mountain and into the sea.. (Well he wanted to see the sea).

They saw sharks that were trying to eat the peach.  All of the birds liked the look of the worm so that gave James an idea.  Mrs Spider weaves some string and then James captures the birds.

Suddenly the peach flew with 501 birds.  It was such a view until  night.  At night  there was cloud men. (they were very  hairy).

Stupid Centipede was calling the cloud men names like : Idiots, Nincompoops, Half-wits and Blunderheads!!!! Then the cloud men looked round and saw them they instantly through the snow balls at the peach .

I like this book because it is very funny!

It was a cloudy day in Topa. Vanessa's house was dark and lonely.  But Vanessa was smart. She made a list about fun stuff: puzzles, mum and dads. 

"AAAAHHHH!"

She was in a hurricane, then she saw... HER HOUSE!!!  
But her scarecrows?  Oh no, scarecrows scare! This is going to be a scary adventure! (Vanessa had millions of adventures).

"AAAARRRROOOOWWWW  AAAARRRROOOOWWWW!  RRRR!" Oh no, werewolves were attacking! 

Vanessa saw a diamond sword and …WHOOSH the head of the werewolves. 

AAAAAHHHH BOOM! She was back in her house and it was BEAUTIFUL and light and Vanessa was very happy.

Pebble Questions

We each brought a pebble to school. Here are some of the questions we came up with to ask about our pebbles.

We've used a microscope to look closer at each pebble.




For guidance, we had the "Seven Ws" in mind:
